Sweet and Sour
Grapefruit Cake
Heyo! What I would like to present to you all today is a unique concoction of sweet and sour; the one, the only, grapefruit cake!! If you want to impress somebody, make this cake for them; they won't be forgetting anytime soon ;)
Ingredients:
2/3 cup of butter, softened
Preparation time 20 minutes / Cook time 25 minutes

2 eggs
1 1/2 teaspoon of grated grapefruit zest (Zest is in the picture) ^.^
1/2 cup of fresh grapefruit juice
3/4 cup of milk
3 cups sifted cake four (pour through a strainer as it goes into bowl)
2 1/2 teaspoon of baking powder
1/2 teaspoon of salt
Two 9-inch pans
1 Regular sized bowl
1 Large bowl
Grater
Wooden spoon or Electric mixer
1 Regular sized bowl
1 Large bowl

Wooden spoon or Electric mixer
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Grease and flour two 9-inch pans.
- Combine sifted flour, sifted baking powder and salt together.
- Set it aside.
- In a large bowl, beat together the butter and sugar until they're combined and light and fluffy.
- Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla and grapefruit zest.
- Now add in the flour mixture you previously made; beat it along with the grapefruit juice and milk.
- Done!
- Pour batter into prepared pans.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25 to 30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the cakes comes out clean.
- Let cool for 10 minutes.
